What would the punishment be for selling marijuana to your friends in British Columbia Canada?

A few of my friends have started to sell cannabis, now they only sell to they're friends and make little to no profit. What would the punishment be if the cops were to find out? They live in British Columbia, Canada.

1. Read the Vancouver Sun this morning? Looks to me like the police is the LEAST of their worries, it's being shot by a rival gang that will stop them. The truth is, anyone who gets into this life ends up dealing more and more, not longer to 'friends', and eventually dealing harder drugs. The penalties for trafficking when they are caught will ruin their lives if the rival gangs don't kill them first. YOUR mission here is to get as far from these 'friends' as you can, before you're dragged down too.
2. Depends how much they're selling. In BC it'll probably be a slap on the risk. It's illegal, obviously, but for minor possession cops tend to look the other way (In Southern Ontario anyway), in BC it's supposedly a lot laxer. Just don't get caught! ha ha. To answer your question... I'm not sure. lol.
