Why aren't ILLEGAL immigrants completely blocked from Obama Health Program?

I don't understand why they have made it possible for them to pilfer our already depressed economy even more? Also, is Government Elite still not required to be subjected to the same Health Program? Ty for your ans.

1. well, you cannot deny medical access to non-Americans. that said, we CAN ask for proof of immigration status. It is some rotten apples towns that think this is harmful.
2. So, you are proposing that doctors and hospitals should ignore their hippocratic oath, to administer care to all, just because the person is not a citizen? Wow, you should be nominated for the American Humanitarian Award... *sarcasm*
3. You know if the administration said , we want to give citizens the same health care plan that we get, they might actually get somewhere.

6. As you know, Liberals, in their attempt to be nurturing and protective of all people in our borders do so at the expense of the citizens of this country. Their policies, up to this point, have not managed to ruin the core of our country and we have been able to recover. This newly elected govenment is so far to the left that their bleeding heart mentality will give way eventually to similar policies and then when our country is bankrupt and out of options because not even the Chinese will buy our debt....will they eventually see that their quest to "give to everyone" has backfired and cost "everyone" a decent quality of life. If we stay on this same debtor's course of spend spend spend, within 5 years, we will owe more interest on our debt than we spend on the military. Think about it....WHO is holding a big portion of our debt...the chinese. In 5 years we could be paying the chinese MORE in interest payments than we spend on our military. Scary!!!
7. I think that in this case illegal immigrants should not get care. To me it's understandable that these people want a life like we have here in the u.s. but they need to do it legally.

9. It's really neither here nor there. The current laws state that hospitals cannot refuse or delay services to anyone.
10. He will give them amnesty. Right now in congress they are arguing more than one bill... That is coming up in early 2010...AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS.... They are arguing expanded welfare benefits with no restrictions.... Illegals getting retroactive social security and other benefits nominees for federal courts not being questioned and interviewed but allowed to be in for life on the word of the president Government funded Citizens Volunteer CORPS getting the same PAY (thought it was VOLUNTEER)...as military and veterans for doing the work that churches and charities do now.... The dems want to reinstate the draft (YEP..DEMS WANT THIS) Unionizing homeland security employees (which I am against...you can't get people out of government jobs now ..even when they are not good at it).... NO ANCHOR babies allowed.....leaving families to be American Citizens just because the illegal baby was born here.... Investigation into the czars so there is not another government beneath BOZO..... So there is more going on than the health care bill... Go to numbers USA and read about them!
11. It's by law that no one can be denied medical treatment (not even illegals), to do so could make a hospital liable and open to law suits. Nothing can be said in a new health bill to change this fact. So I would say it's really two different issues. If we have a new health care bill, so be it. However we need to fix illegal immigration, at least to a point that satisfies the American citizen.
12. Some people still watch Obamas bouncing ball, rather than what he's doing in the shadows. Sure, the Bill DOES exclude illegals....that part of Obamas falsehood is true. However, with NO WAY to verify a persons citizen status, under the law of "everyone" get's care, Obama knew it didn't matter. This Bill was to include ( I haven't read it yet ) a Provision, requiring such verification, but WHO will do that, when a person is bleeding to death ? Come on. Obamas blowing smoke and some people seem to think that makes him honest. And these same people saw no "coincidence" that a "Hispanic activist" was placed on the Supreme Court, when the Immigration Reform Bill will be the next MAJOR kick in Americans faces, when Obama pushes for AMNESTY. Too bad were running out of time, because Obama is SLOWLY being exposed....just not in time.
