- only 2 late to change when ur actually there i think. no idea what the hell Ormskirk hospital is, or why they should think u should go to a womens hospital. but its just where YOU feel more comfortable really. like me, i have two hospitals the same distance from me, but i'm picking one over the other simply because i was born there and feel more comfortable knowing this. hope this helped
- sorry not sure what ormskirk hospital is, in England we go to the maternity department of the main hospital. Go where you feel happiest, if you were happy with the birth of your first son at the hospital then go there again.
- I'm booked in to go to Liverpool women's but i had a choice of the 2. I only chose here as it is slightly nearer to me. i think both are much the same and if you had no problems with Ormskirk i wud just stay with that. Why were you told you should have gone to the women's?
- Am assuming you are talking about the Women's in Liverpool...... It is your right to choose, I live on Wirral and was booked into Arrowe Park, but being Scottish had already decided to go home to Dundee to have both my children. Did have friend (locally in Wallasey and she chose Women's in Liverpool as far superior to any other) As I say - your choice - believe it or not the Women's in Liverpool will in fact bill Ormskirk for your health care - something to do with National Health Trusts as that is what happened with me giving birth in Scotland
